About the Role

The Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI), a nonpartisan nonprofit dedicated to strengthening civic culture through constructive dialogue, seeks a highly organized and mission-driven Training Program Manager to support the growing reach of our training and educational programs. This full-time, remote role will manage key aspects of CDI’s training logistics, manage the coordination of our external facilitator network, and ensure seamless delivery of impactful learning experiences to our partners.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in program management within education or learning and development and a passion for dialogue, depolarization, and civic culture-building. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys managing educational initiatives, thrives in an organizational role, and is eager to grow within a collaborative, mission-focused environment. This role offers opportunities to build skills in program management, dialogue facilitation, and educational content design. The Training Program Manager reports to the Director of Education.


Responsibilities

Training and Facilitator Coordination

  • Work with the Senior Training Manager (currently being recruited) to schedule CDI Facilitators for trainings and workshops with CDI partners.

  • Serve as the main liaison between CDI Facilitators and partners to ensure smooth coordination of logistics and alignment with partner needs.

  • Schedule CDI Facilitator development opportunities and post-event retros with support from the Senior Training Manager.

Training Operations

  • Provide technical and logistical support for CDI trainings and workshops.

  • Coordinate participant communications for trainings, including scheduling, pre- and post-training information, and responses to inquiries.

  • Build, manage, and continuously improve systems and processes related to training logistics and facilitator coordination, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with program goals.

  • Update and maintain training records, facilitator communications, and logistical data across platforms like Airtable, HubSpot, and Asana.

Content Development and Management

  • Maintain and support data infrastructure related to content design and resources.

  • Assist the Director of Education with version control and updates to CDI’s Perspectives resources.

  • Collaborate with the Content and Product teams on implementing revisions and updates to Perspectives.

  • Contribute to broader design projects within the Content team as needed.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • 3-9 years of experience in program management or coordination, ideally within a learning and development or educational setting.

  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • Highly attentive to detail, ensuring consistency and quality in project execution and stakeholder communication.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

  • A commitment to the mission and values of the Constructive Dialogue Institute.

  • Ability to quickly learn and effectively use tools such as Google Suite, Zoom, HubSpot, Asana, and Airtable; direct experience with any of these tools is a plus.

  • Strong process orientation with a knack for identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.

  • Bonus: Prior experience in content facilitation, content design, curriculum development, instructional design, or similar fields. Relevant certifications in program management or facilitation.
