ABOUT CDI
The Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI) is a rapidly growing non-profit EdTech startup that leverages behavioral science to equip people with skills to communicate and collaborate across differences. We translate the best psychological research into tools that are engaging, scalable, and evidence-based to help people bridge divides and thrive in our complex digital age.
CDI was co-founded by social psychologist Jonathan Haidt, the author of the bestsellers The Righteous Mind and The Coddling of the American Mind. Since launching in 2017, our program has been used by over 65,000 learners at over 500 educational institutions and workplaces across more than 40 countries.
OUR HIRING PROCESS
At CDI, we strive to create a fair, efficient, and engaging hiring experience. We hope you'll find that the process honors your time and provides ample opportunity for you to learn as much about us as we learn about you.
We follow a similar hiring process for most positions, although it may differ slightly for each role.
Step 1: After you apply, a team member or recruiter may reach out to you for an introductory Zoom call.
Step 2: If your background is a good fit for the role, we'll give you a chance to show off your skills with a role-specific task (usually they only take 1-2 hours to complete).
- Step 3: If your performance task is strong, you'll advance to interview with other members of the CDI team on Zoom. For a senior leadership role, that might include 3-4 interviews with several people. For an entry-level role, it might be just 1 interview with 1 person.
